Role Overview
We seek a highly motivated and organized post-doc researcher to lead and coordinate critical projects within our organization. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving research applied to biomedical unmet needs primarily in oncology field. The ideal candidate thrives in a start-up environment and has a strong background in biomedicine within the biotech or life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research planning & execution:
• Study of the physico-chemical interactions of nanoparticles with biological fluids, hard tumors and other matrices. • Study of the mechanism of action of drug loading nanobots in vitro.
• Test and evaluate the therapeutic effect of active nanoparticles in vitro and in vivo.
2. Research coordination & reporting:
• Guide bachelor, master, and PhD students.
• Interaction and reporting within Nanobots Therapeutics and partners.
• Actively working in the development of new ideas that give rise to future and/or evolution of projects and generation of intellectual property.
• Technical preparation and justification of project proposals to public and private funding.
• Direct reporting to CSO. Provide regular updates to C-level management on project status and KPIs.
3. Strategic Contribution:
• Support the development of the company’s long-term goals and pipeline.
• Identify opportunities for nanomotors and drug development improvement and scalability.
Qualifications & skills:
Essential:
• PhD in the field of biology, biomedicine, pharmacy, nanomedicine, biochemistry, nanobiotechnology or related fields.
• Experience with cell cultures (cell lines and primary cells).
• Experience with in vivo mice animal models.
• Experience with Western Blot, PCR and molecular biology techniques.
• Experience with confocal microscopy and flow cytometry.
• High level of English.
Advantageous:
• Knowledge on nanoparticles or drug loading and release.
• In vivo imaging techniques such as IVIS, Photoacoustics, PET, MRI
• Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Proactivity, Commitment, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
